March Madness is almost here!

 Hey guys! Yup, It's been almost 12 months already, and here we are a mere 14 days away from March Madness beginning all over again!! The group page is up on ESPN, and you can create your username for 2013 and join the group today (the bracket unlocks as soon as the Selection Sunday picks become official on March 17- http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/7823505/2013-ncaa-tournament-schedule-key-dates ).

 Remember, Steve Erickson won the group in 2011. Wendy Chapman won in 2010, Doug Abenroth won in 2009, and Lauren won back in 2008. I won it last year, barely, with Emily Davies and Russell coming in 2nd and 3rd place (thanks to Kentucky), and Steve did managed to beat all the other Ericksons for the second year in a row. Also, Phil Radmilovic opened the tourny up in 2012 with an awesome 24-of-32 games right in the 1st round!

 13-Seed Ohio may have been my favorite underdog last year, winning their way to the Sweet Sixteen, where they took North Carolina to overtime. Is was also fun to see 15-Seed Norfolk State beat 2-Seed Missouri.

 We had 40 entries from family and friends last year. It would be great to see more husband-wife combos sign up again, like we had in 2011 (the women did very well for themselves too)! Get fired up people, it's almost time to throw down!!
